Yeah, so I just found out someone from my high school, Jayson Foster signed onto the Dolphins, he's a multi-threat, he ran as a QB 80 yards for a touchdown, then agian it was against the Citadel.

He can be quarterback, wide reciever, and special teams kick returner (took a 94 yard return for a TD, setting a record at Georgia Southern.)

He won the Walter Payton award for 2007 too, so this might be a guy to watch out possibly, Parcells called him personally during the draft and thinks he is better than McFadden. So he might be someone to watch out for.

Yeah, I love the GSP fight. It was great. Fitch did really well, and what about Brock Lesner? Actually looked good in the fight, he looked better than his first fight.

blake, i got a idea for the yardstick for the home team you can have the points in red and the away team in blue instead of one colour . Some people may have a hard time seeing what direction they put their points on or get comfused what team they put their points on and by puting colours on the point stick will help people out better .

Blake, it is hard to go for accuracy when you want to the person with the most points to be on the top of the leaderboard .

I just watched that Colts game...wow! Enjoying it in Belgium, now I'm in Germany for a school for 6 weeks. I love this site. I'm trying to get up there to number one in the NFL side, then I'd lead the NCAAF and NFL. LOL. Kidding.

My 62% dropped to 49%, still a good showing though. So over to baseball....who are you in for the Sox or the Rockies?

Hey Big Daddy, thanks for taking the time to inquire about this. I know it can be a bit confusing. For the Lions game, the Yardstick was 2 for the Lions and you picked the Lions by 2. That is worth 100 points. For every point you would have picked higher than the Yardstick, but closer to the actual winning margin (without going over), you would have received ten points on top of that 100. So, they won by 7 points. Had you picked them to win by 7, you would have received 150 points. (Forget the whole subtracting thing I mentioned before - there were issues with scoring games that way that arose that made that method illogical mathematically). Now, for the 49ers game, you picked the G-men by 4, the Yardstick was at 7, and they won by 18. You received 70 points for that pick for picking the correct team minus ten points per point you were below the Yardstick. Had you picked Giants by 7, you would have received 100 points. Had you picked NYG by 18, you would have received 210 points. Sorry about the confusion, and please feel free to ask me about any other games or whatever you wish. I am putting this on your Chalkboard as well. Thanks again, Blake.

I still am confused about the scoring system and the yardstick. let me give you some todays games and you tell me what I scored please.
I picked the Bucks & Lions for the Lions to win by 2. The yardstick was 2. I won the game by 7 points so I think I get 100 points for the win and 50 points for the 5 points over the yardstick. Is that right??
Next took 49ers& NY Giants picking Giants by 4 points. The yardstick was 7 and I won the game by 18 points less 7 = 11 points times 10 =110. should have received 210 points. Right??
I loose a game by not picking the winning team so I get 0 points. Right.
I see understanding this is important for gaining points. It would effect how conservative or open you make your choice on picks.

I hope you can bring a bunch of people to the website, and maybe get some other sports in to get more users possibly. I love this site though, check it out everyday. Well wasn't that a squeeker last night. They have got to do something about the time out being called 2 seconds before the snap with 20 sec on the clock. Didn't that happen in the Raider's game 2 weeks ago?

Why is it so damn hard to pick NFL scores? Of all these people, the best have just over 50%. Sometimes I think just flipping a coin would be easier. O well, that's what makes it so fun I guess. Anyway, keep rocking out on the site - it looks better everytime I come here!!!

The Vols are killing. They had a week off last week, so that definitely helps, and playing at Rocky Top is always hard on teams.

There should defintely be a chat to talk about the games like right now. That would be great. Yeah, Georgia hoepfully is going to get the ball back, still have plenty of time, is Tenn can score 28 in the first half, Georgia can in the second half. Not giving up on them yet.

I definitely agree about the Texas game, i got texas as the winner, and it's looking good for me. To bad my Dawgs are not looking well right now. They're looking horrible!

Hey Blake, can I make a couple of suggestions? Any chance of using the team logos beside the names? I'm sure you would have to get approval first. I kind of find it frustrating when I pick each game having to go back to the main page etc. Is there any way you can create an optional spread sheet with all the games, who you pick and points with option to comment all on one page? Just some thoughts....have a good weekend.

Hey POG, that is a very good suggestion. What we have done at this point is make it so you can, in the Leaderboard, use the sortables drop-down menu at the top right of the board to sort by week in both NFL and NCAAF. Nice pick on the Titans tonight! What is up with the Saints??

In case anyone was unaware, you can make predictions for games well into the future. For example, why not get the competitive juices and commentary flowing by picking now on the Week 9 game between the Patriots and the Colts, as well as others. You know you wanna. You can always change your pick up until the time listed on the game, so why wait?

Same with college games!

i haven't been a Fan of Senior Seau for a while now. And i jsut gotta laugh at teams (like the pates) who see him as a benefit to their team now... hehehe... we sapped the best years of his career and he inspired us during (one of) our best seasons... but there was no ring, there was pissy attitudes, there was desertion, so now there's contempt and grudges. no love.
